Trionfa Black Swan
Black Swan (Il cigno nero) trionfa alla 26° edizione degli Indipendent Spirit Awards, conquistando il premio per il miglior film, il miglior regista (Darren Aronofsky), la migliore fotografia (Matthew Libatique) e la miglior attrice protagonista (Natalie Portman).
Tra gli altri premiati, Banksy nella sezione documentario con il suo Exit Through the Gift Shop e James Franco come miglior attore protagonista per 127 Hours. La migliore sceneggiatura va a The Kids Are All Right di Lisa Cholodenko e Stuart Blumberg, mentre il superfavorito agli Oscar Il discorso del re porta a casa il premio come miglior film straniero. Winter's bone vince due premi (miglior attore e miglior attrice protagonista) mentre a Meek's Cutoff va solo un premio minore (al produttore Anish Savjani). (m.p.)
