Dopo l’annuncio delle candidature per la televisione il 18 Gennaio, ecco che l’8 Febbraio sono state annunciate anche le nominations per il cinema dei Critics’ Choice Awards. La cerimonia di premiazione della 26ª edizione dei riconoscimenti assegnati dall’associazione americana dei critici cinematografici e televisivi dalla Broadcast Film Critics Association si terrà il 7 marzo 2021 sul canale The CW. Come facilmente pronosticabile Netflix fa incetta dei maggiori premi piazzando numerosi titoli in tutte le categorie principali e portando ben 4 dei suoi prodotti nella categoria Miglior Film. Altrettanto prevedibile il successo di Mank, di David Fincher che ottiene ben 12 candidature e sembra così avere già la strada aperta al successo dei prossimi Oscar
